Just went for a haircut. At Heatwave again, and by Wini AGAIN!!! Hahas. It's real short! For Halif & Co, think Vivien, for NP dudes, think in-between Vic and Linda, for Jing & Co, think somewhere near Kai's current hair. For Talisa and the rest, ummm...You will know when you see. XD.
Violet base with inner red highlights! Love the colors, but not so happy with the length. I guess I am just not used to it. BUT, since my hair grows pretty fast, I think in 2 weeks, it will be fine. Plus, I am leaving till Dec, and Wini said that my current "head" will last for around 1/2 year. Cool!
Mum says it's too short and not very nice, brother (eldest) says "Why you go cut till so short?!". Zzzzzzz...I find it okay LEH.
Pictures up later this evening, am still in my mum's office.
Hmmm, forgot my make-up pouch this morning, plus my ZA 2-way foundation has run out. Went to Citylink and searched high and low for Watsons, found none and end up buying Missha instead. Their 2-Way cake is alright, if ZA's coverage was full, then this will be around medium. Blusher was so-so, color is just right, but i would rather they add a small brush or something to go with it like other brands, cause I didn't get the one with glitter which came with a puff attached. Kinda expensive, so I think I will stick to ZA.

Hmmm...Initially I was only busy on the 3rd, then my grandma booked me on the 4th, and now Hans is talking about a meet-up on the 2nd. It's like all of a sudden everyone wants to meet. Oh haha.

Titled "The Forgotten Toy". Hope ya like it. Pretty simple, only 1 set of brushes used. Was actually a test, but turned out pretty good. Re-arranged some things and made it into a skin. Around 1hour of working with 17 layers in photoshop.

Alright. First an update on yesterday, THEN the new featured DA Gallery.
Yesterday was pretty fun. Went to meet Halif at Lavender as he was extending his passport, and then we went to walk around Lavender. Haha, saw Mr.Wong at the bread shop while buying a drink, he grew a moustache! Lol.
Hmmm, went to Changi Village after that and had Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice) at the wet market. Food was good, and so was the satay that we ordered, though it was abit "soggy" as Halif mentioned, but I like my satays soft. >.<" Went to the Pasir Ris CC (Community Center) after that and met up with Joey, talked for quite a bit and then headed towards Pasir Ris MRT. Took a bus home from there with Halif, and then we were like talking about the different kinds of people that angers us! LOLZ. Anyways, since I am lazy to upload the photos I took through blogger, here's 2 that I submitted on DeviantArt. I took more than 2 for sure, but they kinda sucked.

The image took me around...30 minutes to complete. The codes were the hard part. Cause this is like my VERY FIRST navigational type skin, I almost died putting the codes together. It took me around 1h30min for the codes alone. Went to tutorials which helped a little, then image mappers which helped a whole LOT, combine, tweak some little problems here and there. This is like my second 2hr skin!! The previous one was the "living in dreamland" skin which I used for myself, the coral colored one? Nevermind...

Okay, the NP open house was one of my most tiring days EVER!
TO cut things short, I had to bring 3 groups of people around, and I made like at least 4 trips from between atrium and convention center, and 2 trips from convention centre to Canteen 1!
Went to the Courses and Careers thingy in the convention centre 3 times and only saw 1 lecturer there on the 3rd time. Guess who? The all time favourite lecturer Mr.Soh! And I am not typing this just cause he reads my (And practically almost all other students')blog.
Talked to him for quite a bit and I found out that they were having a Photoshop module this semester! *faints*, and he was teaching that particular module *double faint* and I was pretty much welcomed to sit in anytime! *run into wall and dies*. WASTED LAH! Hahas, but my name is still on the attendance list, so I can like go sign on it still. Photoshop CS LEH! But hmmm, I am using Elements...soooo yea.
What else...Let's bring up the highlights. I saw Brandon, he was like the first person I saw cause he was beside the walkway that brings us into NP, and well, he was promoting for the ARC (I think its ARC, or issit ACR?) and we (Vivien, Nadia and me) played the Nitro Crossing game. Shall not elaborate, except its pretty much moving from tree stump to tree stump while carrying wooden planks around. Went in search of Victoria or any other classmates, but found none. Hmmm...
Nothing much I guess, except that I pretty much missed NP, and everyone of them (Vivien, Halif, Nadia, Sadiq, Sakinah) were cursing the slope that ran between Canteen 1 and the Convention Centre. OH, and I didn't know there were 5 canteens in NP, I only know from Canteen 1 to 4, where's the fifth one? 0.o...
Hmmm. Guess that pretty much it.

Okay, tomorrow, I will talk about the Ngee Ann Poly open house. For now, I shall say something to all fellow blog-skinners out there.
I recently re-joined blogskins.com, just for the heck of it, cause I am really super bored nowadays. And since I am a DA user, I started to literally "open my eyes" at skinners.
A blogskin, is NOT an image with some html codes thrown in (of course I don't mean literally). "It's not like, oohh! This image is nice! *Copy, paste* TADAAH! MY new blogskin!" WTF? Especially to those that take images from DeviantArt, even if you credit the user, even if you ASKED for permission (which I doubt many of them do), what's the point is getting 5 stars for someone elses work? Sure, it may be half your own work, but the thing is, most people will go "Wonderful image! (5 stars)". WTF???!!! I don't see the point in basking in another person's talent. DA IS NOT A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN RIP IMAGES FROM! So get that!
Ok, fine, I was one of those people, but I am not now. I am using my own images for my skins, and even if I want to, I won't take another person's hard work, even if its like in a stock exchange website.
Then the other problem, the rating system is corrupted! It's like almost 90% of the skins there are a perfect 5, and some of them are seriously CRAP!! Got image (stolen or ripped), got codes (also ripped) and best of all, you can practically see those skins everywhere. Then people expect that you will rate them 5, just because they rated you a 5! Please ar, save your 5s for those that really deserve it. Those that make or use their own images, and have really unique skins that stand out from the crowd. If everyone is going to rate 5, then whats the point of having a rating system if it's going to be a 5 anyway!?
And I have to say this again, when you take someone else's image for a blogskin, its only polite to ask and leave them a link so that they can see what you have done, and no, its not entirely YOUR OWN Blogskin. Even Myles Grant, the guy being blogskins.com, have received many e-mails from DA users that tell him that the skinners are violating copyright laws, and thus, he have to take down those skins, or in some cases, ban the skinner. HEY, that's lucky, for the owner of the image could sue you for all they want to!
When you take images from let's say, DA or any other art community, even google images, it's violating copyright laws. Even worse, if its from those brand sites (Roxy for one), cause they PAY for the photographer and models! You are ripping the images that people are PAYING for.
Solutions to this problems:
-Make your own images.
-If you are not talented in the arts, don't use images, brushes are a great substitute, but make sure you credit the makers.
-Use public stock images.
-PAY for the images, LEGALLY.
Or don't make skins for the public.

Yep, new skin. I know I know, me changing skins so often is kind of irritating. But I swear, this one will last more than a month. I don't know why, but the previous 2 skins were just...super ugly and I don't know why I even put them up. But at least I have something closer to my standards now.
I was wondering if I should take down the tagboard cause no one tags there anyways. Hmmm...

Oh man. At the rate I am browsing through DeviantART, I will get like a 4 months worth of featurable sites in a WEEK! I already have this month lined up. -.-"...Mostly photography, seriously amazing! I look at those photos and I feel be-littled. Hahas.
Hmmm...I have been Yahoo-ing and Google-ing the net for other international students' homestay experiences, but found nothing. Oh, and its like guaranteed that I am going to stay in homestay for that 8-9 months. Initially they sent me an e-mail telling me about my homestay accomdation and the family (and everything else like transport to internet service and home rules), it was a 6 bedroom, 2 storey Queenslander home (no idea what that means, but its BIG), but only has 1 toilet (as it mentioned). The family was a single-parent one, with 1 mother and 2 sons, both younger than me. She used to worked in the Government under Insurance. Interesting...
BUT, I received another mail a day later, telling me that the accomodation has been cancelled due to family circumstances. 0.o"...So now I have to wait for them to contact me with another family. So yea.
Lets see, I still have to get some shorts, an external hard drive, external keypad, extra battery for my laptop, color printer (to bring over), open a bank account, adapters, spectacles, extra HP battery, safe box, alarm clock, winter clothes (zz) and some other misc items. Thats alot of things to get!!

Anyways, next from the 26th I will be like busy LAH! 27th there is the birthday celebration for Kangwei, Sadiq and Halif PLUS my farewell thingy! Then on the 28th is the chalet for Ben and Linda's birthday celebration. And then on the 3rd, (most probably) is the Night Safari trip with Halif and Co. I am so going to be broke broke broke!
OH and on Thursday, which is the 18th I will be going back to NP! Going to accompany Halif & CO. to the open house. And maybe get to see my classmaties! Hahas. Totally missed them LAH! If you guys are going to be there, give me a call alright?
Hans contacted me on MSN, but I was away, so called him. Things have changed! Hahas, last time we could talk for around 30min to hours and hours. NOW, we hung up even before the clock showed 3 minutes. He might be able to send me off on my flight day if there's nothing on for him. ALSO, we might be hanging out the week after the coming one.
Hate this kind of feeling, its as though I am drifting apart form my friends and I hate that! People that contact me nowadays and literally be counted on one hand. Let's see, HALIF and YAN HAO. HA! Interesting...

DOTS LAH.
Just because I "volunteered" and am "supposed" to wash the dishes and so on, does not mean that I am responsible for everything that happens in the kitchen. There are ants on the dustbin, and I get scolded?! Scold me for what, scold the ants LAH, tell them don't go near the dustbin LAH! I am not the one that threw the food in the dustbin without throwing it in a bag first. BUT but but but! I still get scolded. Damn nice can? Thanks huh!
Then what? Chance and Charm dig the soil and you whack them like nobody's business?! EH, they know or not first? They don't understand that they are not supposed to dig right?! You whack them AFTER they dug up the soil and they have no freaking idea why you whack them! If you hit them when they dig the soil at least they know right?! WTF LAH. You to hit then hit the person that exposed the soil to them LAH, hit them for what? Funfair ar?!
I get scoldings, you whack dogs, I STILL have to FUCKING clean the dishes. OH and I can't show any form of anger or anything when I AM angry while getting scolded. NICE AR!

Thats the question I want to ask a certain person. Is it so hard to pick up after yourself?! You don't even wash your own bloody dishes. You can't even put the ice tray back into the freezer after taking the ice? WHAT THE HELL?! What? So you are a guy, and I am a girl, I have to do the dishes and everything else? Screw you LAH.
You think there will always be someone there to clean up after you and clear up all your mess. So what if you are older? It's not that hard for me to wash an extra plate or two, but, can't you just WASH UP once in a WHILE?

Recent news in my place is that, well, the maid has been sent off cause she didn't want to work anymore. o.0" My mum was so nice to her LAH! Seems like all maids so far that my mum got from THAT company all turned out problematic (1 stole, 1 ran away, 1 don't understand english and now this...ROAAR!)...So now, we are ordering tingkat meal delivery for lunch and dinner. Tingkat dinners are those that caterers cook the food, then deliver them to your doorstep in those stacked metal food containers. So I just have to cook the rice, heat up the food then wash up the dishes. =D

That section is "Featured Page" or "Featured Site" depending on what is being "featured". I guess none of you people really care about it, but you should take a look sometime. I guess most of the pages will be from DeviantART cause thats where you find the most amazing things.
Like, for example, the newest and also the first DeviantART gallery that I featured, contains mostly of wolves/dogs digital images/airbrushing/photo-manipulation. I bet most of you wish you could do that. He is really talented and he also has a photo gallery which is awesome as well.

Hey! I took this IQ test
The first thing I said was "Oh..My...Mama!" Its a Clot and Nike collaboration and its my size and its selling in SG! *faints* Don't you people dare take it from me. Hahas, I am going to try and "psyco" my mum to get it for me. It would probably be like the most expensive thing I own apart from electronics and my dogs. Guess how much it is...SGD$782.00!!! Its brand new too.
Oh and those of you who have never heard of CLOT, one of its founders is Edison Chen and thats enough to make me go after that brand. So freaking expensive, its like if I DO actually get it, I am wearing SGD$391 on each FOOT! 0.0"

First day of school pretty much sucked.
Wait...I don't have school. Hahas, I had to do that, so just excuse me. Anyways, how was your first day at school? Some of you going into a totally different environment, be it Poly, JC, Uni or private insitutions. Some of you are not in a new environment but its just that you are taking your Os or As this year. How does it feel like? Hahas. Bet is was fun to see your classmates and teachers after 1.5months or so, unless you are a school hater or something.
I am so bored at home! Am working on a new skin for my blog, should be up either tomorrow or the day after, so yeah, keep a look out for it. Anyways, I bought a new gadget yesterday, it was this...thing, which is called a portable speaker. You know...the thing that produces sounds that is portable. Hahas, ok, I shall stop being retarded. But hey, it works pretty well, sound quality is fine too. So I guess I will be bringing it over to Aussie cause I can't possibly bring my stereo along can I? And I doubt I would be provided with one.
Nothing much is happening...Only that I have been sleeping in my parents room cause the maid is sick andmy mum does not want me to catch whatever she's got. And since I am so used to my room's air-conditioning, I practically wake up at 2am every morning to turn on the air-con in my mum's room (cause the timer was set to turn it off at 1.30am). That sucks.
Have to go make a list of things to buy for Aussie, maybe I should start counting down too. 0.0

Let's talk about the last year. Well, I know its the new year already but you need to finish up anything in the past year before moving on. I won't put it according to date or anything, but I will put it up as I remember.
-Officially graduated from Coral Secondary School.
-Ran around Singapore appealing to different polys for Biotechnology.
-Failed to get in any Biotech course.
-Pondered between leaving for Aussie and staying, decided to stay.
-Entered Ngee Ann Poly, PDI course smoothly.
-Made an impression by saying "Random Photos". 0.0"
-Made friends with people like Faizah, Vic, Ben, Alex, Angus, Brandon, Ade, Linda, James, Ivy, Qiuyun, Jason, Jing Dong, Victor, the 3 Tings and the rest.
-Cursed at NP's elevators.
-Cursed at Softball lessons,
-Which I later grew to enjoy very much!
-Failed to hand in any of my maths tutorials.
-Failed all maths class tests.
-BUT, managed to pass the maths exam!
-Found out about Flesh Imp and got addicted to it!
-Experimented with make-up,
-Which in turn caused me to have freaking breakouts.
-Managed to "psyco" mum to buy a pup which turns out to have heart murmur and now, is one of the most beautiful dogs I have seen. =D.
-Dad "psyco-ed" mum to buy ANOTHER pup. Which had skin problem. -.-"
-Went to Sentosa and did nothing there...
-Witnessed Hans going into the Army. And becoming bald. Which does not make him any less gay. >.<"
-Gave "tuition" to Halif for english which was not very fruitful at all. Lolz.
-Decided that PDI was not for me. And decided to go overseas instead.
-Quit NP when the new semester started, and haven't been back since.
-Submitted all documents for a student Visa in Aussie.
-Went to Brisbane and took a look at the school which, lets just say was, not really what I expected.
-Decided to lose weight...and failed miserably. =D
-Re-opened a DeviantArt account and managed to keep it updated till now.
-Started making blogskins and improved pretty much throughout that 7-9 mths.
-Quit blogskins.com cause of irritating people.
-Ventured into the world of online shopping which broke my bank account.
-Got addicted to AuditionSEA.
-Patronised KBox probably more than I would in the rest of my life.
-Attended Parry dinner to commemorate the closing of my Primary School. T.T
-For once, did not have a party for my birthday cause majority of the people could not make it.
-Cut my hair short, and am going to do that again.
-Started many things that contributed to my diminishing bank account.
-Went and entered into a tee shirt design competition...And failed. Duh!
-Went to Vivocity and liked the outside more than the inside.
-Went out more times with Halif&Co. then I thought I would. Hahas.
-Decided that certain people ain't worth my time and well, I should just forget about them.
-Went to Cineleisure so much that they should give me a discount on every store there, especially BK.
-Saw how "pro" Yan Hao was at 3d modelling...>.>

I think thats enough. About my New Year's Resolutions, I will tell you what I told Yan Hao, I have none, cause its not like I actually go and fufill them anyway. To which he replied that his new year's resolution was to eat, sleep and go to school. What's the point? He can fufill them! -.-"
