I haven't looked around Youtube for Dharni for sometime now, and today there was a feat. video that was about beatboxing and it brought back that one memory from watching Dharni perform in Coral Sec for Teacher's Day one year, so I decided to do a search and see if he has any new videos.
Well, basic intro about Dharni would be that he's Singapore's best and most recognised beatboxer, and is also top 5 in the world (apparently, gotta check though). Anywas, he's freaking awesome and the beats he come up with is just SICK! (In a good way)...He was in Coral Sec, then went to Temasek Poly in Singapore, don't know about after that though, cause I am not acquainted with him at all.

Above videos were taken while he was at a 'workshop' in Berlin for the World's Beatboxer Championship thingy, I think. Obviously the vids don't belong to me.
And this was put up by Dharni himself on youtube, that was in 2005...

Post No:#746 Anyways! I have started studying for my last paper! And to motivate myself, I have changed my wallpaper which makes me smile whenever I look at it! But that's not the point...I really hope and pray that I can get into vet sci cause I think I am in deep shit for my results this semester...>.<"... One last paper to go, 60 MCQs, 2 hours...Plant Utilisation for Agricultural and Natural Environments (yes, the name of the course is too long). CHIONG AR~ Okay, all that study talk aside. I found a new song that I am currently obsessed with! It's called "The Wedding Song" by Chester See (remember the guy on Youtube?), and it's currently playing on loop on iTunes. Blogging bug bites~
Don't worry, I am not gonna put up a recipe and steps again, but I am gonna put up 2 photos of food; my lunch and dinner today. ^^ Cause I attempted something new.
Because of Chef Hao, I became hungry. I was looking at his San Bei Chicken (Taiwanese 3 Cups Chicken?) photo on Facebook, so I decided to attempt this dish~ Now, other than for Yang Hao's rendition which I presume to be rather authentic, I have never tried this dish anywhere else, so I have no idea what its supposed to taste like, and have based the results by comparing it with Hao's version...
It was good, but there was no "PHWOAR!!! Damn nice!" effect that Hao's food gives off. Hmm...I wonder if there's something wrong with my steps. My version was a little 'too' spicy cause I put in too many dried chillies!! But it was alright with the egg fried rice that I made to go with it. Yum yum...
Then dinner was:
Baked Crusted Lamb Rack served with a side of mash potatoes and broccoli & carrots (with herb/cream sauce). ^^... Yet to perfect the art of baking the crust on lamb racks...Can't seem to get it crispy enough...-.-", nevermind, I get to practice next year. XD

I remember I used to dislike Jay Chou when he first came out as an artist cause the first few songs I heard from him were "Dad, I am home" and "Nanchucks" (Pa, Wo Hui Lai Le & Shuang Jie Gun), and I honestly was thinking "Wthell..." when I heard them. I think only started buying his albums after he came out with November's Chopin cause I liked the piano playing in a few songs.

So, turns out Wilber Pan also has a bew album that's been out for sometime already. Listened to the new song on that album and really liked it!
Super nice! XD...Well, at least I think so. So this song and JJ's Always Online is being played on loop on my laptop and my ipod. =D

It's TUESDAY again!! And we all know what Tuesday is gross day for me sometimes. Last week, it was the digestive tract of the pig, this week it's the digestive tract of the sheep! What's the main difference? Well, the pig had a way stronger pungent smell to it. Nah, seriously, the pig is not a ruminant while the sheep is, meaning that the pig has one stomach while the sheep has 4 (Reticulum, Rumen, Omasum and Abomasum).
Sheep's intestines and the rest of the digestive tract wasn't as smelly as the pig's but I sure don't want to smell it again anytime soon! Oh, and there was a dead chicken which one of the students dissected to show the internal organs as well, because avians have a different digestive tract compared to mammals.
Spent some time in school catching up on my AGRC1019 Plant and Animal Biology notes and revision cause the mid-semester exam is coming soon!!! Next Wednesday to be exact, so I have little more than a week left to prepare, YIKES! It's not a MCQ paper this time, but a short answer question paper. I am so so so dead if I don't start mugging now.
Chemistry practical tomorrow...I wonder what's going to happen. Hmmmm
Been watching a few Taiwan Idol dramas as well, after finishing 命中住定我爱你. Been watching 籃球火 (up to ep 7, but I think I am gonna stop soon cause the basketball playing is =.="), 不良笑花 (up to ep 2. So far so good, but Rainie Yeung's voice is kinda annoying) & 无敌珊宝妹 (Up to ep 4. I don't know what to make of it, but will keep watching cause it's interesting. Has the main 命中住定我爱你 cast in it, but only for a small part)

Been having weird dreams lately. A few that freaked me out so much I woke up sweating. Seriously man...
In one of them, my friend's dad had a stroke, and I had that dream 2 nights in a row, it was like continuous and ended with a...funeral. 0.o"...Wtheck can?! And none of our other friends were there, just me, him and his whole family. I know who it is, but the rest of the dream was pretty much a blur, and I didn't get to see the dad. Super freaky!
In another one, there was a fire in Coral Sec and elephants were used to put out the fire along with the cranes and fire brigade and whatever. Then one elephant got spooked and came after me, it was chasing me everywhere and trying to hit me with it's trunk and what not. It managed to hit me a few times and almost squashed me when it reared up. 0.o" Then it became 3 elephants and I managed to squeeze into a narrow alley where the elephants couldn't get me. Then my alarm clock rang...Saved by the bell~ XD
I don't want another nightmare tonight please, been having them like for 4 nights already. Others I can't remember...And I am still suffering from insonmia!! I sleep at like 3-4am!!! T.T

It wasn't that long since my last "music" post, and that was filled with guitar covers. This one will be brimming with piano covers. XD
Have started falling back in love with the Piano recently, well, I can't always let the guitar steal the limelight in my life eh? And I discovered that I like a liking for the cello as well after two of the covers that I found on Youtube.
One of my current favourites is what you are hearing on my blog now. It's 我不配 by 周杰倫, and the covered is played by betaunknown. He is really good from what I can tell. But then again, the knowledge I have about instruments is just about the same amount of knowledge I have about economics. XD

Been watching Jay Chou's movie, 不能說的秘密 (Secret). I must say, I was never a Jay Chou fan, but I was mesmerized by his piano playing!! Anyway, before my raving about 小夜曲 which has nothing to do with the movie, I got to say. YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE MOVIE!!! Didn't expect much of it, but I LOVE the twist in the story at the end. If you don't at least watch it, then you are missing out on something REALLY good...^^
Okay, moving on...
Then suddenly thought of the piece Serenade by Franz Schubert or known as 小夜曲 in chinese, which was played in the Korean Drama Summer Scent that I watched a loong time ago!

I love the guitar, but I admire the piano(if you get what I mean)!!! But then, in my opinion, Schubert's Serenade should be played on the piano more than any other instruments cause that's where it sounds best.

Just a quick post before sleeping.
Talking about sleeping, nowadays, I don't seem to be able to sleep unless I am playing songs by Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) and Face Off! It's like I have this playlist on iTunes that I play just before and while I am sleeping, and the songs are like:

Stomach's been feeling queasy from morning. No idea why, probably the bread I had at Al's place was stale or something. Hmmm...I actually understood the Physics lesson today!!! YAY! Like for ONCE! Haha, maybe cause it was just refraction and reflection. But still, when I had Mrs. Ho, I knew nuts about light refraction and reflection. Hee...
And I am still craving Sg's food. Damn you ieatishootipost!! (in a good way, cause I love that blog!!) The bad thing about being a Singaporean, you expect everything to have a structure and once there is no structure or you are not told like what you have to do specifically, you can't do it! It's like people cannot write an essay without being given a certain format to write it cause we are so "kiasu" (scared of losing) that we don't know whether what we are doing is acceptable. We become kind of narrow-minded in a sense. On a lighter note, SG-eans everywhere, especially in western countries will feel really deprived of food! Cause SG is a food paradise afterall!! Any kind of food, you will find it in SG, anytime you want to have something, it will be selling somewhere on our little island. Now, when I come here, I don't hate the food, I just cannt help but compare the standards. -.-". And if I am hungry in the middle of the night, I just have to deal with it or have cookies.
