Count Down - 23 Days to End-Of-Year Exams!!!!

Exams are in 3 weeks time my friends! Let's all JIA-YOU~ and work hard to achieve our dreams. Even if things don't turn out the way they should (which they almost never do), at least we know we have done our best and we know that we have no regrets. ^^

It's time to give my THANKS again!!

Thanks to Kin Fatt and Kit for their company this week and all those previous weeks when I was feeling down/frustrated or just plain upset. Those trips (to South Bank and Starbucks) with you guys helped me out quite alot. Thanks for being there my dear "grandsons"!! Hahas...Thanks for listening to me vent my frustrations and all my ranting and whatnot. Also for the awesome company you guys make, you guys almost never fail to make me laugh.

Thanks to Jess and Vanessa for listening to whatever crap I was ranting on all this while. ^^

Thanks to Ping Chiuan. He might not know, but some things he said gave me motivation to actually try my hand at Physics again. I was already giving up on it, and even though his motivation method is like reverse psychology, it works for me.

Sorry for the lack of updates!!! Been busy, and it's been rather boring after the Student Ball. Anyways, shall be using the "Rock You!" slideshow feature to show you guys the photos instead of putting them up one by one.

Was still looking for shoes on the day itself, went shopping with Ping Chiuan who needed to get clothes for the ball. Heh, met Vanessa and Jess and with their help I got shoes! Like finally, I was giving up already...Anyways, bought shoes, bought a shawl-thingy and met Kit, Felix and Kin Fatt after their basketball game. Went over to Kit's to change and to do my make up. Met the guys for dinner, like 12 of them and I am like the only girl in that group that went for dinner!? Wtheck...

Anyways, headed to the Conrad Treasury Hotel for the event where everyone was dressed up and prepared to let their hair down (which literally happened in Jess's case. =P), and the partay didn't start till the professional photographer packed up. Songs started playing, and I gotta say, the DJ wasn't half bad!!! Got dragged onto the dance floor a couple of times, pushed people in a couple of times, danced a couple of times with Vanessa and Jess, spend most of the time cam-whoring with the pretty ladies and good-looking dudes. Ping Chiuan can BREAK! Wtheck, totally surprised!! Yang Hao can dance! Vanessa CAN DANCE! Everyone that was on the dance floor can dance except a few including me.

Kin Fatt, Kit and Felix ran out half way, then came back, and David, Woei, Francs and Ming Zhong left after that cause they had to work the next day or something. Whole thing lasted from about 8 to 11, then some people left for more partying at Cesar's Nightclub. Whole group of us went to...you guessed it...PLAY POOL! Lol, imagine a whole lot of people in formal clothes playing pool. 0.o"...Was fun, and by that time my feet hurt so much, I could hardly get up the stairs. XD...Took off shoes and played pool.

When the clock hit 12am, SURPRISE SURPRISE, out comes a Vienetta ice cream (with candles of course) and a birthday song for Charlotte!! ^^ Continued pool till about 1+am, then went to meet Kit and Felix who ran off halfway through pool. Rest of the people left, and we just sat there and talked (and eat) till about 2+? Walked back to West End with Hao, Kit and Felix, took off and put on my shoes a couple of times throughout the journey, guys wanted to change shoes with me, but heh, I got big feet.

Spent the night over at Kit's place, and Kin Fatt came over to cook lunch for us!! ^^ Irene and Charlotte came over too. Watched some DVDs, headed to the city for pool again, then went home.

Met them on Sunday again for Resident Evil!!!

That's about all that were interesting the past week.

Post No:#574 Been feeling tired and moodless lately, and it's got nothing to do with the basketball game.

心情有點糟...(Feeling kinda down)

I think it's homesick-ness acting up again or maybe it's just me...

Been looking at this video I made previously for Hans and Talisa, it's just some photos put together into a video, nothing much, but it means something to me.

Friends here are awesome as well, in fact, I probably made more friends here than I had in my whole 18 years of living. Yea, I am rambling off again.

Arrgh!! Frustrated...Maybe it's the exam stress getting to me. 0.o", people probably feel that that's weird cause I am totally not showing any signs of stress. Hahas...It's like the O levels all over again.

Basketball = 1 pair of knee-ripped jeans + 1 bruised knee + 1 scraped knee + Aching body + flies everywhere!!!

Played basketball with the guys yesterday. Played first with Joe and Yang Hao, and not even 15 minutes into the game, I tripped/skidded/fell face-on to the floor while running after the ball. Then apparently, when I tripped, my right knee scraped along the floor, and part of my foot was holding onto my jeans, and thus the right knee of my jeans just ripped and my knee got scraped, plus, I landed on my left knee so now, there is an awesome purple bruise.

Joe left for work then Kit, Kin Fatt, Nelson and Felix came and we continued playing. I got to say, I suck!! Damn...And the flies/bugs were everywhere around us. Felix was like "I just play against the flies can already lah!" Hahas. Got kinda tanned/burnt on my face. 0.o...Chloe came to look for us, then Irene and Stella came as well. Finished at about 4.30 and went back to Nelson's place to change, then rested there for a bit before heading down to the city for dinner and daytona racing!!!!

Pooled after dinner, and Joe came and join us after work as usual. Won twice, against Kit and Felix. HEH! The the 4 of us went for pancakes as Joe hasn't had dinner yet and was complaining that he was hungry. I love Pancake Manor!!! Heh...Went back to the arcade and played a game of daytona before leaving. Went back to Kit's place with Felix and Kit cause it will be easier for me to get a cab from there as all the taxi stands in the city were filled with people. Got a cab, went home, slept and woke up with an aching body.

And that's one typical Friday..

Woah woah woah!!!

People have been asking me what they should wear to the student ball. HEY! It's Spring Fling Disco night! But they said you can wear whatever you want to. Well, most girls can settle on their own dresses and whatnots, but normally, for "prom" and D&Ds (Dinner and Dance), most guys have a great headache cause they have no idea what they can wear, especially if they want to stand out amongst the sea of tux-es and suits.

For those that don't know what to wear, I am gonna suggest this. Go online, and go to Yahoo! Taiwan, then click on Auctions or "拍賣". Then just go search for like outerwear for men. You know why I choose Yahoo! Taiwan? Cause most online stores on Taiwan Auctions are willing to spend money on employing models and/or photographers to represent their product.
So instead of just seeing like a top or a pair of jeans in the picture, what you see is one person, wearing this whole set of clothes that look rather good most of the time, and by looking a those, you can get an idea of what you can wear, and thus, solve your problem of not knowing what to wear!!!

I am gonna post up some styles which I find rather easy to pull off and you guys probably have something similar in your wardrobe.

Anyways that's just one of the many stores in Taiwan Auctions on Yahoo! Taiwan. Other places that you might want to look for ideas on what to wear might be like a magazine (common), your favourite singers' album cover/lyrics booklet (they have professional stylists, just take the look and put it on...You can copy and look great without paying for a stylist. HEH), Brandname websites (like FCUK, G-Star Raw, Zara and so on) and just look around your everyday surroundings, there's bound to be something!!! Or, you can ask your friends...

And for what I am going to wear...That's for me to know, and YOU to find out. =P

About to go do my homework in a minute. Just a short update.

Been raining heavily these 2 days, and all the bugs have taken shelter in the house. My bedroom is infested with them!! Well, they ARE tiny, but then, I don't like them around. Who does?!?! I think I killed enough to make a whole bug-army last night. Yea, I am exaggerating as usual, but they really piss me off. Can't sleep properly cause I keep thinking they will crawl up my nose, in my ears and mouth or something. -.-"

Maths test on FRIDAY!!!!! English Report due NEXT FRIDAY, Chem and Physics assignments due FRIDAY and Chemistry test on MONDAY. Bloody hell, they sure are getting the ball rolling in school.

Talking about balls, school's organising a Student Ball that's gonna be held at the Conrad Treasury Hotel. My "grandsons" and "bros" didn't want to go, but the girls wanted to. So, today, we all decided to go. Theme is Spring Fling Disco. 0.o...No idea what I am gonna wear, like seriously, DISCO...Retro ar?! Girls gonna wear cocktail dresses or something, might help guys pick their clothes. Heh...Eh, don't see me donning like a t-shirt to school everyday, I can work my magic too. ^^ Might borrow a dress from Samantha, or get one. 0.o...Yes yes yes, I am gonna step into a dress/skirt after leaving Coral. Been living in pants/jeans all this time, some people are gonna have their eyes popped outta their sockets. Eh heh...Anyone wanna fly in from SG and be my date? HAHAS...Yes, I am kidding...or not. =P

Anyways...That's it, back to Maths...and Physics.

Exams in about 5-6 weeks time. It's gonna end on the 23rd of November, just in time for my birthday on the 25th!!! Yay!!! I love it that my birthday never falls on a school day, gonna partay till dawn. Feel like sitting on Story Bridge and just waiting for the sun to rise. HAHAS...Yea, abit crazy, but...that's just me.

Time to settle down and concentrate on my studies...No more going out twice a week just to pool or watch a movie. Will still be going out, but to study in the City Square Library as it's well, a library, even though it's far from my place, at least it has air conditioning!!!! Hello!??! It's getting so warm here, it's like summer but it's supposed to be SPRING!!! I am like supposed to be used to it caused I hail from SINGAPORE, the place where it's always SUMMER?! But HEY, I HAVE air-conditioning in my BEDROOM IN SINGAPORE!!!

Okay, back to about studying...Went to the library today and studied Maths and Biology for like 3 hours. Need help with Chapter 14 of Maths, Maths test on Friday, Chapters 14,15 and 16...Differentiation and Derivatives and Rate of Change. Am gonna make this like a weekly thing, to study at the Library on Saturday, prolly gonna get more people to form a study group cause at least I will have someone to ask if I don't know how to do a question, unlike today, where I was stuck on one question for like...15mins?!?

Started taking notes and everything from Chapter 7 for Biology. Gonna do that for Chemistry and Physics as well.

Anyways, went out to catch a movie with Kit, Yang Hao, Ping Chiuan, Kin Fatt, Stella and Irene yesterday. It was called "The Kingdom". Front part didn't appeal to me that much, but as I watched it got better and better. Then, we went for pool, just me, Joe and Kit.

OH, AND HIGHLIGHT of TODAY!!!! I won in DAYTONA RACING vs Joe, Kit and Yang Hao. The first time I won and I used MANUAL!! WAHAHAHAHHAAH!!! Everyone said I improved quite a lot!! Whee!! Happy LAH! Joe came in second at...about less than a second behind me! I think he stepped on the brakes...HEH!

Shall stop for today. Updates whenever possible!!

School sucked!!!!!!! Well, that's kind of acceptable after a week of lazing and having fun. Dayana didn't come to school so we didn't have Biology tutorial today!! Hahas...

Nothing much to update about, I only know that my mobile phone's charger is broken, the tip where you insert into the phone cracked, and now the whole thing came off...Luckily it's not stuck IN the phone, otherwise I might have to get a NEW PHONE as well. Borrowing Amanda's for now, Thanks!!!!
